I NTERFOREST, LLC CONSULTANTS Calvin Teruo Mukumoto Calvin Mukumoto is an experienced business management consultant working at the senior executive level providing strategic business planning, business viability assessments, capital budget analysis, marketing, interim management, contract negotiation, project management, information systems development and turnaround management services. Mr. Mukumoto became involved with large timberland transactions (>$5 million) as an investment analyst at The Timber Exchange of Portland, Oregon.He provided appraisals and pro formas, marketing analysis, and on-site assessments for land and timber transactions. The largest project was a successful disposition of >25,000 acre tree farm in Southern Oregon.Mr. Mukumoto was also responsible for development of international forest products markets.Primarily directed to Japan and Asia, Mr. Mukumoto was also involved with markets in Italy. Mr. Mukumoto was with The Timber Exchange from its startup stage (1987) to a period of stable cash flow (1990). Mr. Mukumoto has worked extensively with American Indian Tribes, establishing new markets for timber, managing forest management activities, providing leadership roles in both enterprise and Tribal government turnarounds.He has represented Tribes on regional government committees, provided Congressional testimony, appeared as an expert Federal witness and coordinated national and local studies.An example of Mr. Mukumoto’s work for Tribes includes establishment of a domestic and international log-marketing program for the Warm Springs Tribes of Oregon.Sales from the program created over a 100% uplift over prior log marketing efforts. Mr. Mukumoto has worked in business turnarounds with plywood, lumber and secondary products manufacturers.Mr. Mukumoto has provided strategic planning, marketing and operational plans as well as providing financial forecasts to funding institutions.
